Vodafone and Sainsbury have embarked on a new venture to bring in a new mobile service. It will be a supermarket chain mobile service in the UK. Moreover, reports show that Sainsbury mobile sets are going to hit the market later this summer both in the store and online. They added that customers will be given points and credit for using this mobile service.

Sources have confirmed that it would a 50-50 joint venture. The management would comprise of top larders from both the companies.

Guy Laurence, Vodafone UK CEO said:“Both businesses will capitalize on their respective strengths in this venture to offer an exciting product range to customers.”
