Posted by Anonymous Tuesday, October 15, 2013

Apple has appointed Angela Ahrendts as the CEO of its retail wing. She will join the iPhone maker in spring 2014.
Ahrendts is appointed as a senior vice-president and then she will be a member of the executives and she will report to CEO Tim Cook. She is responsible for strategy-making, expansion of business and apple retail online store.
Her appointment comes as Cook attempts for the second time. Last time he hired Dixons CEO John Browett last year. But, his tenure at office has been cut-short. Her decision to leave Burberry has not been taken easily by investors.
