O2 Says Its 177 Retails Is Franchise Owned

In Helsinki, Nokia shareholders hold a talk and agree to sale the company’s device and service unit to Microsoft. Microsoft has agreed to pay $7.36 billion for purchasing this unit. This acquisition of property was announced in September.Until the transaction is completed, Nokia authority will play the role of caretaker and most probably the transaction is come to a close by the Q1 of 2014.

Samsung won the big winner at the 10TH What Mobile Awards Ceremony on Sunday 16th November 2013. This show was attended by 200 industry guests here.
Samsung made it a hat trick this year. There was a poll organized among 48,000 consumers. Samsung grabbed the awards for the Best Manufacturer, Best Camerhone and the Best Smartphone.
There are other trophies too. Best Tablet was awarded to Paul Chawdhury for iPad Mini, Editor’s choce award Sony Xeria Z and Reader’s choice award went to HTC one.

iPad mini hits the online store, the price of this piece is 319 pound for 16GB Wi-Fi only model. The other one for 64GB WI-Fi and Cellular model will cost 659 ponds. More is in the pipeline and are likely to be released later this month. 

 This Apple device with Retina display is the latest tablet addition. The Wi-Fi only model costs £319 for 16GB of memory, £399 for 32GB, £479 for 64GB and £559 for 128GB. The Wi-Fi + Cellular cost an additional £100 for each model. It was supposed to be released by October 22. But, it took time.

By 2019 Mobile subscription Likely to Reach 9.3 billion

Ericsson reports that predictions show 60 per cent of subscription will come through smart phones.

According to the latest Ericsson Mobile Report, mobile subscription is likely to go up and will reach 9.3 billion by 2019. They maintained that total mobile subscription currently is 6.6 billion. They added that 60 per cent of these connections are for smartphones. Currently, around 25-30 percent are meant for smart phones. Ericsson reports says that by 2019 Ericsson research will reach 60 per cent growth and 3G connection will reach almost 90 percent.
