Research says that the number of ticket sales of digital events and transport delivered
to mobile devices is likely to be almost treble. By 2018, it will be 16 billion
according to their research report.
Mobile Ticketing Strategies that
include Air, Rail, Metro, Sports and Entertainment and bus reservation will
give rise to the growth of mTicketing sales over the next five years.
This report adds that SMS-based tickets
have been inflecting this result. In Sweden, it has been found that 65% of bus
tickets are sold through mobile media.

The establishment of OneCom establishes a company with a turnover of more than £40 million and the creation of 70 new jobs, taking total staff numbers to nearly 300 people.
